An on-campus training programme was conducted on Mushroom Cultivation, aimed at women and rural youth on 18/07/2022. In this training programme, N. Sugandhi (Program Assistant – Home Science) gave a clear explanation of cultivation practices of different mushroom species and various technologies through an engaging practical session. 

Sri. B. Lavakumar (Program Coordinator) explained about the importance of mushrooms in our daily diet, and suggested that the youth can get self-employment opportunities through mushroom cultivation. A total of 15 women and youth participated in the training.
